Phase 1 Renovation

Food Hub Interior Rendering 1

Phase 1 of the East End Food Hub site plan development will include the renovation of an existing 5,000 square foot building that is currently being used as a year-round indoor farmers market. The renovation will leverage 2,000 square feet of the building as a community kitchen, leaving 3,000 square feet for semi-permanent farmers market stalls that can accommodate storage and light food preparation of local food and beverage products.

The kitchen and market stalls will be available for year-round rental to local entrepreneurs. The kitchen will also house East End Food Institute food production while a larger facility is built to expand impact. The combination of uses in building 1 will allow for food processing, retail sales, and public education with views into the kitchen.
